A nice distraction

I'm not submitting Bolekian Dreams to any agents until the end of the month.

I have spoken.

Waiting a few weeks gives me tons of time to summarize, hookacize, and cover-letter-ize its almost 115,000 words into short, snappy, snippets.

Waiting a few weeks also gives the flood of New Year's resolution submissions some time to dry up.

What to do in the meantime?

Volery!

The Voyage of the Volery is a five-episode radio play that I gave Stephan, my husband, for Christmas.

Stephan has been adding sound effects and tweaking the audio.

He's taken the story to a whole new level, and we're having so much fun!

We've already shared it with family, and we think it will be appreciated by a wider audience.

My sisters and brother are allowing me to use our mother's likeness for Anna, and Hannah, my daughter, 1950 scified the image.

Anna Smith

Deckhand Second Class Anna Smith woke up cold, alone, and trapped in a tiny room. This wasn't what she'd expected when she'd signed up. The UESS Volery was supposed to save her, but maybe she is the one who has to do the saving.
